2017 Grand Marshals

Bill and Joyce Green

Their love of community and serving others lead them from one adventure to the next; always creating solutions for those they serve. Bill, a graduate of Hermitage Springs, and Joyce, a graduate of Red Boiling Springs, first met at the sulphur well in the Palace Park in 1947—two years later they became Mr. and Mrs. Green. The couple has deep roots in the community and are fine examples of servant leaders. In fact, Bill wrote the original Charter of Incorporation of the City of Red Boiling Springs, he is the only living member of the original NCTC Board of Directors and the last of the original founders of The Palace Care and Rehab. Mr. and Mrs. Green also have a long history in the banking industry; Joyce 20 years and Bill 42 years. Lastly, Mr. Green served in the US Army during WWII. Thank you Bill and Joyce Green for leading by example—it is our honor to call you the 2017 Red Boiling Springs Nighttime Christmas Parade Grand Marshals!
